Safe Drinking Water Projects
There are at least 2 billion people worldwide are suffering with contaminated drinking water with feces. Microbial contamination of the drinking water due to fecal contamination poses the greatest threat to drinking water safety. The contaminated drinking water contaminated can spread diseases such as diarrhoea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio, killing an estimated 485,000 people each year from diarrhea. LIFT’s safe drinking water projects improve the water supply safety and sanitation, and better protect the local health condition.
Solar Off-grid System
At present, there are still 900 million people in the world without access to electricity, of which 77% are in sub-Saharan Africa. LIFT solar off-grid projects have brought reliable, sufficient and affordable clean electricity to the local population, reduced CO2 emissions from burning firewood for lighting, and improved the quality of life of the local people.
